About the Name

I don't reject AI. I used it to build this website and many other tools that amplify my skill set. But a force multiplier only works if there's force to multiply; anything times zero is still zero. The risk isn't that AI makes us lazy. It's that it makes us dependent before we've noticed we've stopped understanding things.

If you can't evaluate the output, you can't use the tool. If you don't understand enough about the world to recognize a lie, you're not being assisted; you're being manipulated. Atrophied brains and frictionless entertainment are the path to idiocracy. The antidote is the same as it's always been: keep learning things, keep thinking for yourself, stay hard to fool, fool.
